Mohammed P. Aslam
PHD MIED

Dr. Mohammed Aslam is an experienced executive manager in the area of community partnerships, equalities & diversity and public policy. He has valuable insight into the different layers that govern community engagement and partnership working. He has a successful track record in delivering short and medium term objectives for vibrant organisations that have a zest for modernization and growth within the public sector. He has worked in a multi-regional setting in the Midlands, South and South West. His expertise is shown through his ability to adapt to management functions with ease and his ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment. Mohammed is very committed to working and developing multi-agency partnerships, notably with the public sector and voluntary agencies. Mohammed is highly skilled in conflict resolution and working with new teams to secure customer focus and rapid delivery of improved performance targets. He has held various management positions including non-executive director of Rugby Primary Care Trust, and a current member of the Beacons Panel at the DCLG where he chairs various Theme Panels and where he currently holds the portfolio for equalities and diversity.
Dr Aslam has considerable team management, consultancy and research experience and has recently completed a study in to institutional discrimination by regional bodies. This was funded through the CRE
